Can Siberian huskies be police dogs?<\/h2>\n

A 3-year-old Siberian husky, with a face that melts hearts and a bark that sounds like a human talking, Arctic has been famous since he was officially sworn in to the police department on July 25, 2017.<\/b><\/p>\n

Can we train Husky as a guard dog?<\/h2>\n

Training any dog to be a guard dog is challenging and unfortunately, Huskies are no exception. However, the earlier you start and the more consistently you train, the sooner you may see results. Training will consist of setting boundaries and showing them that what you want them to protect falls within their territory.<\/b><\/p>\n

Which dog is known as police dog?<\/h2>\n

Police dogs must remember several verbal cues and hand gestures. The most commonly used breeds are the German Shepherd, Belgian Malinois, Bloodhound, Dutch Shepherd, and the retriever breeds. Recently, the Belgian Malinois has become the dog of choice for police and military work due to their intense drive and focus.<\/b><\/p>\n
