Friesians are also highly intelligent, reliable, and want to please their owners. Baroque type Friesians are built for their traditional use in driving as well as showing, exhibition\/performance, and pleasure. Sport\/modern type.<\/b><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Whats_the_price_of_a_Friesian_horse\"><\/span>What&#8217;s the price of a Friesian horse?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Friesian. What is this? The price of a Friesian horse can range anywhere from between <b>$3,000 to $30,000. Since stallions are the most valued part of the breeding stock, a studbook-approved sire can cost from $25,000  $50,000.<\/b><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Can_Friesians_be_other_colors\"><\/span>Can Friesians be other colors?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><b>The only color a studbook-registered Friesian comes in is black, however this may range from very dark brown or black-bay to true black. In 1974, the breed was re-introduced in the United States. <b>The Friesian is still considered rare in North America, but its numbers are growing because of the demand for these romantic horses.<\/b><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_is_a_Ster_Friesian\"><\/span>What is a Ster Friesian?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>STER (Star) Star predicates are <b>awarded during inspections starting with the year in which the horses are three years old.
