  • Offer Alternatives. <\/li>\n
  • Time Out. <\/li>\n
  • Use Positive Reinforcement. <\/li>\n
  • Try a Class.<\/li>\n

    What should you do if your dog bites you?<\/h2>\n

    If a dog bites you, take these steps right away:<\/b><\/p>\n

  • Wash the wound. <\/li>\n
  • Slow the bleeding with a clean cloth.<\/li>\n
  • Apply over-the counter antibiotic cream if you have it.<\/li>\n
  • Wrap the wound in a sterile bandage.<\/li>\n
  • Keep the wound bandaged and see your doctor.<\/li>\n
  • Change the bandage several times a day once your doctor has examined the wound.<\/li>\n
