Feel free to take your dog all the way to the summit, but be warned—to get all the way up you will have to traverse some fairly steep stairs. At the summit, take your time enjoying the 360° view of the Black Hills. Your dog is more than welcome on their veranda as you partake in some excellent food and drink options.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Service Animals are allowed to accompany customers into Barnes & Noble stores. Each store follows the local health codes for their town, county, or state.
Can you take a dog into Walmart?
Walmart welcomes service animals as defined by the ADA in our stores, and we recognize the important role they play in many of our customers’ lives. We do not allow pets in our stores.

Is Yosemite dog friendly?
Leashed pets are allowed on most fully paved roads, sidewalks and bicycle paths and in most developed areas unless there is a sign that specifically forbids them, like on the trail to Vernal Fall. There are many miles of unpaved trails in Yosemite where your pet is not allowed.
